Coconut Oil. The one stop shop!

Coconut Oil!!!
Coconut oil is a solid substance. And it liquidizes when its warm. It will basically be your temperature guide. Lol.

It is something we must Always have in our home! We get ours from Costco.
What can you use it for?.....Better question is, what can you NOT use it for?!

There is so many ways you can incorporate Coconut Oil, and many benefits that come along with it.

Uses:

In the Kitchen
•Cook with it. Adds a different flavor compared to Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

•On toast with some nut butter, or your favorite jam.

•Air pop popcorn with some coconut oil, instead of adding butter.

•Add a teaspoon to your morning coffee

External uses
•Makeup remover. Get a little coconut oil on your finger tips and gently rub over eye makeup, and face. WARNING: you will look like the Joker after you rub the coconut oil and have the makeup smeared all over your face!! LOL. Then take a tissue and gently rub all the makeup off.
Added plus: you just moisturized your face in the process. (If you have oily skin, you can wash your face afterwards if needed)

•Moisturizer. Comes in handy when its winter and you get dry skin. And ALL NATURAL. Rub on hands, elbows, knees, ALL Over if you want. Just don't use TOO much, or you will be super greasy. A Little goes a long way.

•Hair Conditioner. I lately have just been washing my hair with shampoo (just the scalp) and then I gently comb my hair. I add a little coconut oil to my hair when its all dry. Starting from the tips and work my way up. Again, only use a little. Just enough on your finger tips, rub your hands together then apply it to you hair.

•Oil Pulling: Just like you mouth wash, you would do the same with coconut oil. Just use half a teas spoon, or even less, and swish the coconut oil in your mouth for around 10-20 minutes ( the longer you can do it the better). What it will do is remove the bacteria from your mouth/gums/teeth, help with oder and whiten teeth. Note: this wont happen with just one time, so try to do it a couple times a week. ONCE YOU ARE FINISHED MAKE SURE TO SPIT THE COCONUT OIL IN THE GARBAGE!!! Do NOT spit it down your sink, because It will then solidify and clog your drain.

Go get yourself some Coconut oil, if you don't already have it in your household.
Use it, Love it! And if you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
